HYBRID VEHICLES

All Car To Go vehicles must stay on paved roads. Hybrid vehicle boundaries span East to Vail Pass and West to Loma. Below map outlines in detail the Car To Go hybrid vehicle boundaries. See bottom of page for Electric Vehicle boundaries.

Car To Go Hybrid Vehicle Program Boundaries

Each Red Arrow Represents a Hybrid Vehicle Boundary:

  • Roaring Fork Valley:
    • End of Pavement: Maroon Creek Road (Maroon Bells)
    • End of Pavement: Castle Creek Road (Ashcroft Ghost Town)
    • End of Pavement: Lenado Road
    • Highway 133: West of McClure Pass Summit
    • Fryingpan Road: East of Reudi Dam
  • I-70When traveling along I-70, unless explicitly allowed, please do not travel beyond the cities and towns that border the highway.
    • I-70 East Boundary: East Vail
    • I-70 West Boundary: Loma
    • North of Rifle State Park on Hwy 13
    • South of Grand Junction on Hwy 50
    • North of Hwy 6 on Hwy 131
  • Independence Pass TravelTravel on and over Independence Pass is permitted, to the following boundaries:
    • Intersection of Hwy 24 and Hwy 285 (South of Buena Vista)
    • Fremont Pass Off-Limits (Hwy 91 to I-70)
