[ARCHIVED] 2022 New Year’s Eve Celebration

 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

2022 New Year’s Eve Celebration

Aspen, Colorado –December 13, 2021– The City of Aspen looks forward to welcoming in 2022 with free events for the community the evening of December 31, 2021.

The central hub of New Year’s Eve is Wagner Park, where the City will host a DJ from 6-9 p.m. Wear your dancing boots and boogie down in the field.  At 8 p.m. we will feature the evening’s only fireworks display.  This year, due to global supply issues, we will only be doing one firework show at 8 p.m.  We will be toasting you in spirit at midnight! (Check out our midnight fireworks display on City of Aspen’s Facebook page).

And please, check out our virtual Trash the Past online activity where you can anonymously type in what you want to relinquish, let go of, virtually burn, and release to the universe in a ceremonial act of unleashing yourself and moving forward.
