Ute Mountaineer Presents the 38th Annual America’s Uphill on Aspen Mountain
Aspen, CO — Ute Mountaineer and the city of Aspen are proud to present the 38th annual America’s Uphill, Aspen’s premier winter uphill race and a cornerstone event in the local mountain community.
Hosted on Aspen Mountain, the race challenges participants to climb 3,267 vertical feet over 2.5 miles, traveling uphill on skis in a celebration of endurance, tradition, and Aspen’s deep-rooted uphill culture.
“America’s Uphill is a legacy event for us,” said Maile, owner of Ute Mountaineer. “This race reflects everything we stand for — community, mountain culture, and a deep respect for the legacy of uphill travel in Aspen. We’re honored to continue hosting and growing an event that means so much to this town.”
Open to elite racers, weekend adventurers, and everyone in between, America’s Uphill invite participants to challenge themselves in friendly competition. The event culminates at the top of Aspen Mountain with a celebratory finish that brings the community together.
Registration is currently open and will close March 12 at 2 p.m. The entry fee is $70 per person and includes a race shirt, breakfast, prize giveaways, and pain.
