Pothole Repair in Aspen Friday and Saturday
Friday – CDOT Crews at Roundabout; Saturday – City Crews at CCB
Aspen, Colorado – March 13, 2019 – The City of Aspen is working with CDOT on repairs to the pothole at the roundabout on Friday, March 15. CDOT crews will be on-site to apply a cold patch to the roundabout at 9am. Work is expected to last five to six hours and the roundabout will operate with one lane with flaggers present.
On Saturday, March 16, City contracted crews will repair a pothole on the westbound lane of Castle Creek Bridge. Work is expected to take place from 8am to 4 pm with alternating one-lane traffic. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
All repair and work hours are weather dependent.
Construction crews will return to both areas in April. At the roundabout it will be to apply a hot patch fix. On the Castle Creek Bridge, repairs will take place over approximately three days to address drainage concerns.
