Customer Service Announcement
Dear Community Development Customers and Community Members:
The Community Development Department has recently experienced some significant staff turnover. This is reducing our capacity to provide the level of customer service we demand of ourselves and you’ve come to expect from our staff.
As we hire additional staff in the coming months, please be patient with slower response times to Planner/Builder of the Day inquiries, and phone and email communications. Please also anticipate longer land use and permit review times.
Planner of the Day services will be limited to Monday through Thursday with walk-ins available from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. There will be no walk-in service available on Fridays, and calls or emails received on Fridays will be responded to the following Monday. Builder of the Day services will remain unchanged.
Please know that during this period we are focused on doing our best to maintain our high level of service and meet the needs of the community and our customers. As we work to rebuild to our previous staffing levels, please be patient with us as we work overtime to continue to meet your needs.
