Building Permits

Submissions of applications for Building Permits require that you schedule an appointment with the Community Development Permit Coordinator.

Please call 970-920-5090 ext. 2 or email us to schedule an appointment to submit your Building Permit application.

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday, 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Certain fees will be due at time of application submittal.

Stand-alone Permits

Submissions of applications for stand-alone plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire sprinkler and alarm permits, can be made to the Building Department without an appointment between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding recognized holidays) at the front desk.

Submissions of applications for stand-alone tent, fence and sign permits, can be made to City Hall 3rd floor Planning Department front desk without an appointment between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding recognized holidays).
